Steven Dorn has over 40 years of experience in real estate, as a buyer and seller of private and commercial property, as well as a broker and property manager. His unparalleled knowledge of the industry and its workings, as well as the local market opportunities, truly set him apart.
Steve is passionate about helping his clients achieve their real estate goals, whether they are buying, selling, or investing. He draws on his own proven expertise, as well as the incredible support and suite of resources available to him at Brown Harris Stevens. Steve's upbeat and positive attitude, honest approach, and 24/7 availability are the hallmarks of his service. He prides himself on creating trust, building friendships, and navigating a smooth real estate journey for his clientele.
An undergraduate of Fordham University, Steve received a B.A. degree and was on the school's prestigious rowing team. He went on to earn his J.D. at Delaware Law School and spent time as Criminal Court Judges Law Clerk in Kings County, NY.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Steve previously lived and worked in both Manhattan and Garden City but enjoyed summer homes in Southold and Westhampton.
He currently resides in East Hampton with his wife, Joanna, and four children. Steve is the current acting Treasurer of The Barnes Landing Association and has been the Secretary-Treasurer of The Appeal of Conscience Foundation for over two decades. The organization advocates for human rights and religious freedom all over the world. Steve has also sailed boats all his life, which remains his passion. His love of real estate and the Hamptons inspired his upcoming blog, which is to be called “Houses with Docks on the Water.”
